Our Past Contributions & Achievements

1992	Sponsored the Road Safety Senior Citizen Education Programme.
1993 & 1994	Supported the Festive Season Crime Prevention Campaign.
1997	Supported Charity Day organized by the Marine Parade Community Development Council.
2001	Contributed and participated in the Transport Sector & Road Courtesy Campaign.
2002	Contributed and participated in the National Courtesy Award 2002.
2003	Supported the Transport Gold Award by the Singapore Kindness Movement.
2004	Expansion of SSTA Office
2005	Tie up with CDAC; to sponsor our member drivers for customer service course to upgrade the drivers’ service standards. Study on Cost Structure & Fare Setting Strategies by Associate Professor, Mr. Anthony Chin of National University of Singapore (NUS)’s Department of Economics, at the Singapore Centre of Policy and Applied Economics.
2006	Setting up of Needy Fund Project to assist students from the lower income families in their school transportation bus fares. Tie up with NTUC & NTWU on sponsorship for the Bus Attendants’ Course. Implemented a standard student payment card.
2008	Celebrated 50th Anniversary.
2011	Organize Road Safety and Awareness Road Show for members of the Association.
2012	U-Associate Collaboration with NTUC/NTWU.
2013	Participated in the National Kindness Award 2013. Set up subsidiary company “SSTA Insurance Agency Pte Ltd” to assist members in obtaining competitive quotes from insurers. Tied up with Tenet Sompo Insurance Pte Ltd to offer motor insurance to members.
2014	Jointly organized a Road Safety Campaign for member bus operators with NTUC. Tied up with AXA Insurance to offer motor insurance to members.
